Performs BLAKE2s hashing on the input. BLAKE2s is a flavour of the BLAKE cryptographic hash function that is optimized for 8- to 32-bit platforms and produces digests of any size between 1 and 32 bytes. BLAKE2s lives in the Hashing category of the fx menu.

ParameterTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
Inputstringyes—Value to transform. Previous step output or a literal.
Sizestringno256Choose one of: 256, 160, 128.
Output EncodingstringnoHexChoose one of: Hex, Base64, Raw.
Keystringno—Argument value for this operation.

Input is the primary value (previous step output or a literal).

TypeDescription
stringResult of the BLAKE2s transformation.
  • This operation treats Input as raw bytes (binary-capable). Non-text payloads may display differently after decoding.
  • Wrong key, algorithm options, or malformed input typically raises an evaluation error — fix Input or options before re-running.
Run BLAKE2s

Performs BLAKE2s hashing on the input. Adjust optional parameters when the defaults do not match your payload.

  1. Set Input to the value to transform (previous step output or a literal).

  2. Review Size, Output Encoding, Key and keep defaults unless your format requires otherwise.

  3. Confirm Output value shows the transformed result.
