Normalise Unicode

Transform Unicode characters to one of the Normalisation Forms. Normalise Unicode lives in the Data format category of the fx menu. See Unicode Normalization Forms for format details.

Transform Unicode characters to one of the Unicode Normalization Forms so equivalent strings compare consistently.

  1. Set Input to the text that may use composed or decomposed characters.

  2. Choose the normalisation form required by your downstream system.

  3. Confirm Output value is the normalised string.
