The MD6 (Message-Digest 6) algorithm is a cryptographic hash function. It uses a Merkle tree-like structure to allow for immense parallel computation of hashes for very long inputs. MD6 lives in the Hashing category of the fx menu.

ParameterTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
Inputstringyes—Value to transform. Previous step output or a literal.
Sizenumberno256Numeric value. Default 256.
Levelsnumberno64Numeric value. Default 64.
Keystringno—Argument value for this operation.

Input is the primary value (previous step output or a literal).

TypeDescription
stringResult of the MD6 transformation.
  • Wrong key, algorithm options, or malformed input typically raises an evaluation error — fix Input or options before re-running.
Run MD6

The MD6 (Message-Digest 6) algorithm is a cryptographic hash function. Adjust optional parameters when the defaults do not match your payload.

  1. Set Input to the value to transform (previous step output or a literal).

  2. Review Size, Levels, Key and keep defaults unless your format requires otherwise.

  3. Confirm Output value shows the transformed result.
