MD2
The MD2 (Message-Digest 2) algorithm is a cryptographic hash function developed by Ronald Rivest in 1989. The algorithm is optimized for 8-bit computers. MD2 lives in the Hashing category of the fx menu.
Parameters
Section titled “Parameters”Input is the primary value (previous step output or a literal).
Returned value
Section titled “Returned value”Limitations
Section titled “Limitations”- This operation treats Input as raw bytes (binary-capable). Non-text payloads may display differently after decoding.
- Wrong key, algorithm options, or malformed input typically raises an evaluation error — fix Input or options before re-running.
Example
Section titled “Example”Run MD2
The MD2 (Message-Digest 2) algorithm is a cryptographic hash function developed by Ronald Rivest in 1989. Adjust optional parameters when the defaults do not match your payload.
-
Set Input to the value to transform (previous step output or a literal).
-
Review Rounds and keep defaults unless your format requires otherwise.
-
Confirm Output value shows the transformed result.
