The Keccak hash algorithm was designed by Guido Bertoni, Joan Daemen, Michaël Peeters, and Gilles Van Assche, building upon RadioGatún. It was selected as the winner of the SHA-3 design competition. This version of the algorithm is Keccak[c=2d] and differs from the SHA-3 specification. Keccak lives in the Hashing category of the fx menu.

Run Keccak

The Keccak hash algorithm was designed by Guido Bertoni, Joan Daemen, Michaël Peeters, and Gilles Van Assche, building upon RadioGatún. Adjust optional parameters when the defaults do not match your payload.

  1. Set Input to the value to transform (previous step output or a literal).

  2. Review Size and keep defaults unless your format requires otherwise.

  3. Confirm Output value shows the transformed result.
