Utils

Functions in the Utils category of the Studio fx menu handle everyday string, filter, escape, and conversion tasks.

Start with the utilities you use most often:

• Find / Replace — replace matches in the input (including regex options).
• Filter — keep or drop lines that match a condition.
• Trim / Remove whitespace — clean surrounding or internal whitespace.
• Head / Tail — take the first or last lines.
• Escape string / Unescape string — escape or restore special characters.

Common reshape and convert helpers:

• Sort / Unique / Reverse — reorder or deduplicate delimited values.
• Count occurrences — count how often a string appears.
• Convert data units / Convert distance — unit conversion.
