Extract file paths

Extracts anything that looks like a Windows or UNIX file path. Note that if UNIX is selected, there will likely be a lot of false positives. Extract file paths lives in the Extractors category of the fx menu.

Run Extract file paths

Extracts anything that looks like a Windows or UNIX file path. Adjust optional parameters when the defaults do not match your payload.

  1. Set Input to the value to transform (previous step output or a literal).

  2. Review Windows, UNIX, Display total, Sort, Unique and keep defaults unless your format requires otherwise.

  3. Confirm Output value shows the transformed result.
