Step-by-Step Integration Guide for Tenable in Mindflow

Generating API Keys in Tenable

To integrate Tenable with Mindflow, you need an API key. Follow these steps to generate one:

1. Log in to your Tenable account.
2. Navigate to Settings > My Account.
3. Click on API Keys in the left sidebar.
4. Click Generate to create a new API key.
5. Copy both the Access Key and Secret Key.

Note

Important: These keys are only shown once. Store them securely.

Activating Tenable Integration in Mindflow

Once you have your API keys, activate the integration in Mindflow:

1. Log in to your Mindflow Studio account.

2. Navigate to Integrations in the left menu.

3. Search for Tenable in the integrations list.

4. Toggle to activate the Tenable integration.

Setting Up Tenable Credentials in Mindflow

1. Go to Environments in Mindflow.

2. Choose whether to create the Tenable credential for a specific environment or for the Global Environment.

   • Global Environment credentials can be used across multiple workflows.

3. Click Create Credential.

4. In the Credential Creation popup:

   • Choose the correct Tenable service (e.g., Tenable Web Application Scanning, Tenable Vulnerability Management).
   • Enter the Access Key from Tenable.

5. Click Create to save the credential.

Building an Automation Flow with Tenable

Now that the integration is set up, you can build workflows:

1. Go to Flows in Mindflow Studio.

2. Click Create to open a new empty canvas.

3. Add the Tenable integration step to your workflow.

4. Click the gear icon ⚙ next to the Tenable step.

5. Under the Settings tab, select the Tenable credential you created earlier.

6. Customize the workflow with additional integrations as needed.

   

✅ Your Tenable workflow is ready! You can now automate vulnerability scans, security assessments, and more with Mindflow.

Note

Please note Mindflow support outdated API versions until they’re supported by the vendor. All outdated integrations will be removed once they’re deprecated (become obsolete) by the vendor.
