Wall-E

WALL-E, the lovable robot from the Pixar film, was inspired by a pair of binoculars. The film’s director, Andrew Stanton, came up with the idea for WALL-E’s eyes when he picked up a pair of binoculars at a baseball game and realized they looked like a pair of expressive eyes
