Version bump: update live flows without disruption 🐉

Section titled “Version bump: update live flows without disruption 🐉”

Ref: #8587

We’re excited to announce that you can now safely update the version of a live flow with our new version bumping feature!

This powerful capability allows for sophisticated environment management across development, testing, staging, and production. By implementing version control through bumping, you’ll enjoy seamless updates while maintaining system stability. Here are the key benefits:

  • Test before deployment: Validate new versions in testing environments before rolling them out to live systems
  • Progressive rollout: Deploy updated versions to a subset of users first to verify stability before wider release
  • Version control: Maintain precise tracking of which version is running in each environment
  • Rollback capability: Quickly revert to previous versions if unexpected issues arise

As a result, you can manage workflow updates with confidence and minimize disruptions to your operations across all your environments.

Follow these simple steps to update your flow version:

  • On the flow, click the ••• menu icon next to the deployment you want to upgrade.

Flow click menu icon next deployment

  • Select “Update version…”

    Select update version

  • Select the version you wish to deploy.

JSON editing for object and array parameters 🔧

Section titled “JSON editing for object and array parameters 🔧”

Object and array fields can now be viewed and configured as JSON objects. This enables you to dynamically define operation parameters at runtime by inserting “pills” in JSON objects and arrays. You can now pass complex data structures created in previous workflow steps - something that wasn’t possible before and significantly limited workflow capabilities.

Here is an example of sending an email to a dynamic list of users:

Select version you wish deploy

On the field “To” you can switch to “Edit as JSON”.

Select version you wish deploy

The field is now displayed with the JSON viewer. This enables the “Data picker” feature, allowing you to pick a list from a previous step.

Administrators can now remove users through the Organization menu. This feature is especially useful when someone leaves your company, switches teams, or no longer needs system access.

We’re excited to add support for more models in AI··Task.

Today we welcome the OpenAI GPT-5 family:

  • GPT-5: Most advanced model with superior reasoning capabilities

  • GPT-5 mini: Smaller, faster version optimized for well-defined tasks

  • GPT-5 nano: Fastest, most cost-efficient version of GPT-5

We’ve enhanced system responsiveness for:

  • Loading of services and operations.
  • AI··Task response time for improved efficiency.
  • For each step fails with large output. (#8620)
  • Fixed an issue where flows would unexpectedly disappear from view when their associated environment was deleted. (#8490)
  • The service search in the credential creation modal displays several issues including unstable cursor position, incorrect service ordering, missing services, wrong logos, and other UI problems. (#8209)
