# Incident report 10/02/2024

**Impacted release:** Deadpool/2.1.0

**Time of detection:** 10/02/2024, 3:50pm

**Fix release:** Deadpool/2.1.1

**Reach:** limited to flows picking JSON array in top level HTTP body

**Impact:** medium - workaround

## Description

Three days after the Deadpool release, a regression bug has been identified on the capability to handle JSON payload containing an array of items at the top level of a HTTP body response.

## Causes

- The issue was promptly analyzed after users reported this incident: the internal typing system wrongly identified the array and data picking.

## Resolution

- Upon receiving the report and its analysis, a workaround was found: Using a `Transform data` step, user could use JSONPath to work with the JSON array and select to appropriate property.
- The impact was confined to workflows executed within the timeframe of the incident and utilizing data from JSON arrays at the root of a HTTP body response.
- The Mindflow engineering team has fixed the algorithm, solving the problem affecting some playbooks by restoring the proper processing of JSON arrays.

## Follow-up

- The Mindflow development team will enrich the test suite around array processing to cover this use case.
- A new internal monitoring system for Mindflow DevSecOps team will detect failure rates to warn our support team ahead of any issue.
