# Virtual Agent configuration with Mindflow

## Set a default topic

Once the topic is created, from the `Property` tab, you need to define the topic type as **`Setup Topic`**.

Then the topic can be activated by default each time a user starts a conversation by going to the following path: `Virtual Agent > Custom Greetings & Setup` then click on `Default chat experience`

In `Setup Topics > Greeting` → allows you to define the topic that will be launched by default when creating a new conversation.
