# Microsoft SharePoint (Files & Sites)

Microsoft Graph provides multiple endpoints to work with **SharePoint sites**, **document libraries (drives)**, and **files**.

- This section focuses on operations like navigating a site, listing folders/files, and reading/writing Office documents.
- Use it as an entry point to understand which content to read depending on what you’re trying to do.

## Prerequisites

Before running the operations described in the pages below, make sure you have:

- **Authentication & credentials** set up (app registration, token/audience, etc.) — see [Authentication](../authentication/).
- **A SharePoint Site ID** and **appropriate Microsoft Graph permission scopes** — see [**Setting Microsoft Graph permission scopes and retrieving the** SharePoint Site ID](./setting-microsoft-graph-permission-scopes-and-retr/).

[Navigation and file operations on SharePoint](./navigation-and-file-operations-on-sharepoint/)

Navigate from Site to Drive (document library), traverse folders, and perform common file operations (list, download, upload, delete).

[Reading & writing Excel files (Microsoft Graph)](./reading-writing-excel-files-microsoft-graph/)

Work with Excel workbooks via Microsoft Graph (read ranges/tables, update cells, and write data back to files stored in SharePoint).
