# Date & Time

Functions in the **Date & Time** category of the Studio `fx` menu parse messy date strings, convert timestamps, and
adjust dates with durations.

Start with the conversions you use most often:

- [From UNIX Timestamp](./from-unix-timestamp/) / [To UNIX Timestamp](./to-unix-timestamp/) — convert between epoch
  seconds and datetime strings.
- [Translate DateTime Format](./translate-datetime-format/) — change timezone or display format from an ISO 8601 date.
- [Parse DateTime](./parse-datetime/) — interpret a date string in a specified format.
- [Modify date with duration](./modify-date-with-duration/) — add or subtract years, days, hours, and more.

Also useful:

- [Get Time](./get-time/) — generate a timestamp relative to the UNIX epoch.
- [Windows Filetime to UNIX Timestamp](./windows-filetime-to-unix-timestamp/) — convert Windows filetime values.

Open a function page from the sidebar for parameters, returned values, and examples. The transform functions overview
also summarizes this category.
