# To Upper case

Converts the input string to upper case, optionally limiting scope to only the first character in each word, sentence or paragraph. To Upper case lives in the **Data format** category of the `fx` menu.

## Parameters

| Scope     | string | no       | `All`   | Choose one of: `All`, `Word`, `Sentence`, `Paragraph`. |

`Input` is the primary value (previous step output or a literal).

## Returned value

## Example
