## NEW

### Transform data and reassigning variables ⚙️

With the previous release, a variable (a data holder unit in the flows) was defined and could not be reassigned. That was a substantial limitation as it didn’t allow you to compute something incrementally or conditionally.

Variables are now global and can be reassigned at any flow step.

## Note: if you use webhooks or email hooks, you need to redeploy your flows

### Sanity check for flow configuration ✅

Until now, users could use only runtime errors to check quickly for problems in flow configuration, such as missing required attributes, a wrongly formatted field, or an expected credential. Those kinds of misconfiguration are now checked automatically during the creation of a flow. Thus, a warning indicates configuration errors, but they do not block anything. It allows the user to find what is needed earlier while creating flow without impediment.

### Using data picker for numeric input fields 🔢

It is now possible to add dynamic data by typing ‘/’ (slash) in any numeric field in Step settings.

### Second Factor Authentication (2FA) on demand 📱

In addition to email and password - something you know, 2FA allows users to secure access to their account by having a second factor - something you have - like a smartphone receiving SMS or generating TOTP (even better) to confirm your identity. We can activate both method on demand - this will require a disruptive migration (please contact us for further details).

### List of service operations improved 🖇️

When adding steps to your flows, the menu contains the specific operation identifiers in addition to the service provider's operation title.

This identifier may sometimes be used to distinguish several operations.

## `KNOWN LIMITATIONS`

- A number of functions in the function catalog are still not operational. Feature is marked as beta in the web interface. They will be fixed along the next releases.
